I, Darin Griesey, pledge on day one of the 120th Congress to introduce the following federal legislation on behalf of the residents of Indiana and U.S. House District (4)

  • Constitutional Amendment-Creating Term Limits for Congress, the Supreme Court Judiciary, and codifying a sitting US president’s use of emergency powers and military force.
  • Bill to implement a Universal (Medicaid for All) Health Care System to be managed by the states.
  • Bill to Eliminate the Earnings Cap on Wages for Social Security taxes.
  • Bill to Impose a US Financial Network Fee-to replace the Labor Taxes on the Economy (payroll taxes, income taxes, social security/medicare taxes) with a Product Tax on the Economy. (the Money)  The proposed Network Transfer Fees (NTF) shall be levied upon the movement of Capital (money) throughout all US Financial Banking Networks and directed to the US Treasury to begin lowering debt, and paying for government services.
  • Introduce the Healthy America through Good Stewardship Act 
  • Bill to further preserve our Public Goods, by closing corporate tax loopholes and increasing energy exploration/extraction lease rates on all US federal lands and jurisdictions.
  • Bill to Reinstate Tax Credits for Residential Solar/Wind/Renewable Energy systems, and create New Corporate Tax incentives to include closed loop systems, flow battery technologies, and best reuse/recycle practices.
  • Bill to strengthen federal statutes for Clean Air, Water, and Land
  • Bill to repeal 2001 Authorized Use of Military Force (AUMF)
  • Bill to create a National Firearms Competency Test that will be required to purchase and possess a firearm in America, and to be administered by the states. The initiative shall be financed through a national gun sales tax.
  • Bill to reschedule Cannabis, Papaver, Coca, and other medicinal plants-decriminalizing personal production for self medicative purposes for adults 21 and over.  (Like Beer and Wine)  Note, Possession cultivation of all new ATF scheduled materials would still be subject to state and local jurisdictional rules outside of a legal residence or domicile.
